I have been a business owner now for 5 years, which still seems crazy to me! A little about me- I have a Bachelors and Masters degree from MSU (go green) and taught in an elementary classroom for 6 years before starting a family. 

I started this business as a new stay at home mom who was used to being busy every second of the day as a teacher. I found that staying home was a BIG adjustment and it was hard to focus all of my time and energy on my baby, her schedule, pumping, and everything that came with being a new mom, without having anything for myself. It was also hard to not be contributing financially anymore and feeling guilty for buying literally anything, even if it was for my daughter. I felt like I had to justify every purchase to myself and my husband (even though he would never ask me to do that). 

I also realized that I needed goals to achieve and a creative outlet for myself, but one thing that I didn't realized I needed until I had it was this amazing community. A place where other women share my goals, push each other to achieve what we set out to achieve, and build each other up DAILY.

Starting this business fulfilled all of those things I was looking for, but the reason I continue to grow my business and push myself every day is to give that GIFT to others who are looking for more options in their life. Whether that be for other moms who are going through the same adjustment period that I was, women who start their first job out of college only to feel like it's not what they thought it would be, or others who have been loving their job, but might not have that extra income they're looking for to travel, go on vacations, start a college fund for their kids, or pay off their own debt.
